After completing the Box It step, it's time to send your batch to Amazon and purchase shipping labels. You have already selected your Freight (Shipping Mode) and Pack Type while creating your batch.

Note: For information on Pack Last, please refer to the article below:

You'll send your batch to Amazon as an LTL shipment if you ship your boxes on pallets. (If you do not use any pallets, you'll need to complete an SPD shipment instead.)

Note: Please be sure you are familiar with Amazon's LTL guidelines and requirements, located here: Truckload delivery to Amazon.

After clicking Next at the end of the Box It step, you'll see the popover shown below.

  1. Select your Ship Date and click Confirm.

On the new window, you will see all the Placement Options available, which contain information such as the number of boxes in each shipment, the destination of the warehouses, and the inbound placement fee. You can also see the expiration countdown and have the option to Generate New Options.

Note: Please keep in mind that if you decide to Generate New Options, the placement options you already have may not be available again.

  2. Select a Placement Option to view more information.

  3. In the Placement Option Inspector on the right, you can set the Ship Date, which is the date the shipment will be ready to be loaded and transported from its origin. You can also see which boxes and packing groups are going to which warehouse, and the fees that come with it. Click Confirm Destination once you are happy with your selection.

  4. After you confirm your preferred destination, the pallet fields will appear in the Placement Option Inspector.

  5. Palletize your boxes or estimate the weights and dimensions of each pallet you'll need. You can use the checkboxes next to each box to help you track which ones you've palletized and which ones you still need to load.

Note: You are not required to assign boxes to pallets. You can ignore these checkboxes if you do not find them helpful.

  6. Click + New Pallet if you need to add more pallets to your shipment.

  7. Fill in your pallet details.

Pallet height must be greater than 0", and less than 72" (for non-stackable) or 50" (for stackable).

Each pallet weight must be between 150 and 1500 lbs. Stackable pallets cannot exceed 750 lbs.

Note: Please be sure you are familiar with Amazon's pallet guidelines and requirements, located here Pallet requirements.

  8. If the pallet is stackable, set the Stackable cell to Yes.

  9. If you have more than one shipment in the Placement Option Inspector, repeat steps 5 through 8 for each additional shipment.

  10. Click Get Shipment Costs. (All pallet height and weight fields must be filled in before you can click this button.)

  11. After you get your Carrier Options, you can select any option from the Carrier dropdown to see how much it charges for each shipment.

Note: You will see a cost for each carrier when you click on the Carrier dropdown, as shown above. However, this is currently only the cost of the first shipment in this placement option. Be sure to click on the carrier to check your total costs if your placement option involves more than one shipment.

Note: For partnered carriers, the Freight Class is not required. However, if you choose a non-partnered one, you would have to communicate with them to get the correct costs and Bill of Lading before you can continue with the shipment.

  12. Once you've chosen your carrier and you are satisfied with your shipment, click Purchase Labels.

  13. After you carefully review your costs and shipments, tick the Accept all fees and shipment charges box, and then click Purchase All Shipping Labels.

  14. And that's it. You can now Print Box and Shipping Labels, Packing Lists, Pallet Labels, or Bill of Lading by clicking the correct buttons.
