Filter Sales by Ordered, Shipped, or Posted Date

Use date filters to view your sales data by Ordered, Shipped, or Posted Date for more accurate reporting and analysis.

InventoryLab now lets you choose which date type is used when viewing sales and profitability data. You can filter your data by:

  • Ordered Date – The date the customer placed the order.

  • Shipped Date – The date the order shipped.

  • Posted Date – The date Amazon posts the transaction to your account.

This setting is available on:

  • The FBA and MFN Sales pages

  • All Profitability Reports

  • The Profit & Loss page

Changing the selected date type updates the displayed data, giving you greater flexibility when reviewing your sales and profitability. This is especially useful for high-volume sellers, where the differences between order, shipment, and posting dates can have a noticeable impact on reporting.

Why Use Date Filters

Amazon has changed its transaction posting timeline to Delivery Date + 7 days (DD+7). As a result, transactions may not appear in your account until seven days after an order has been delivered.

With the new date filter, you can choose the date that best fits your reporting needs, making it easier to analyze your business performance based on when an order was placed, shipped, or officially posted by Amazon.

Note: The new date filtering applies to newly imported sales. Historical data from 2026 will be backfilled in a future update. Because this process involves a large volume of sales data, it will be completed separately to ensure the backfill is performed accurately and efficiently.
