Note: Before we get started, you may want to watch our main boxing video, Box It. Although it focuses on SPD shipments, it covers boxing shortcuts, how to deal with item labels, and other details common to most Box It flows.

For LTL Pack Last shipments, using 2D Barcodes is the best option, since it supports printing Labels in the box. However, to provide box content using 2D barcodes, you must have this option turned on both in Seller Central and in InventoryLab. Here's how you do it:

Turning on 2D Barcodes in Seller Central

  1. Log in to Seller Central and click the Settings gear in the upper-right corner.

  2. Hover over it and select Fulfillment by Amazon from the dropdown menu, as shown below:

Turning on Box Content in InventoryLab

When creating a new batch on the List > List & Prep page, set the Box Contents option to On - Using 2D Barcode. This is a great option if you are doing LTL Pack Last shipments, since it supports printing labels in Box It.

With this selection, you're all set to generate 2D barcodes for your boxes during the Box It portion of the batch workflow.

If you forgot to change the Box Contents information while creating the batch, don't worry, you can edit a batch to switch from Feed to 2D Barcode in either Find It or Box It. Here's how:

  1. Click the three dots by your batch name.

  2. Select Edit Batch Information.

  3. On the pop-up window, change the Box Contents to ON - Using 2D Barcodes.

Using 2D barcodes takes Amazon longer to process than feeds, but you wonโ€™t need box weights or dimensions. Shipping charges are based on pallet details.

Shipments from your confirmed placement option appear as tabs. Hover over a warehouse ID for details or click to copy them to your clipboard.

Your boxes are shown on the left, and the items in your selected shipment on the right. You can now box your items the same way you would for an SPD batch.

After adding items to a box, use the Print dropdown to get all available labels, including FNSKUs. With 2D barcodes, you can print a box label as soon as contents are finalized, just select the box, click Print, and download.
