Updated today

When creating a shipment, you’ll need to select the Shipping Mode. This determines how your inventory will be transported to Amazon.

Small Parcel Delivery (SPD)

  • For individual boxes under 150 lbs each.

  • Shipped by common carriers such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS.

  • Best for smaller shipments or when sending cartons directly.

Less Than Truckload (LTL)

  • For palletized shipments over 150 lbs.

  • Your pallets share space on a truck with other shipments.

  • Best for larger, consolidated shipments where Freight is more cost-effective.

The following requirements apply to all boxes shipped to Amazon fulfillment centers, whether by Small Parcel Delivery (SPD), or Less Than Truckload (LTL).

  • Length: 36 inches

  • Width: 25 inches

  • Height: 25 inches

  • Weight: 50 lb
