In some cases, when listing items, the Replenish button might be grayed out. Below you will see the reasons why that might be the case.
Why can't I use this MSKU?
If you attempt to replenish an existing MSKU in a batch that is tied to the opposite fulfillment channel, you will notice that the Replenish button for it is grayed out and unable to be chosen in the Existing MSKU window.
For example, if you are listing in an FBA batch, but try to replenish an existing MSKU for the Merchant (MFN) fulfillment channel, you will not be able to click the "Replenish" button for it. This is because Amazon does not allow MFN items to be listed in the same batch as FBA items and vice-versa.
In this scenario, you would either need to click Create New MSKU Instead to create a new MSKU which can be used for the opposite fulfillment channel, or convert the existing MSKU before attempting to add it to the batch again.
How to Convert MSKUs Between Fulfillment Channels
There may come a time when you want to change a product from being listed as MFN to being listed as FBA or vice versa.
Note: When converting between channels, the cost, supplier, and purchase date will transfer with the MSKU to the new channel in InventoryLab.
In addition, Deleted MSKUs cannot be converted between fulfillment channels. The following steps only apply to MSKUs showing as Active or Archived in InventoryLab.
The process is relatively simple but must be done in Seller Central.
To convert an MFN MSKU to FBA:
Log in to Seller Central and go to Inventory>Manage All Inventory
Search for your item and click the check box next to it
Choose Action on selected>Change to Fulfilled by Amazon
If applicable, choose the Barcode Type and add Dangerous Goods info if required
Click List as FBA
Now the MSKU has been converted to the FBA fulfillment channel, and you can return to InventoryLab to add the item to your FBA batch.
To convert an FBA MSKU to MFN:
Log in to Seller Central and go to Inventory>Manage All Inventory
Search for your item and click the check box next to it
Choose Action on selected>Change to Fulfilled by Merchant
Click Done
Now the MSKU has been converted to the MFN fulfillment channel, and you can return to Stratify to add the item to your MFN batch.
Adding a Converted MSKU to a Batch
Once an MSKU has been successfully converted in Seller Central, you have a couple of options when adding it to a batch in InventoryLab. You can either wait for your inventory to complete an automatic sync with Amazon (this happens every 4-8 hours) or follow the steps below to list the newly converted MSKU right away.
If your inventory has synced:
InventoryLab will recognize that the MSKU has been converted when you attempt to add it to your batch.
Click Replenish to use your existing MSKU.
2. Next, enter in your quantity and purchase details as you normally would.
Complete your listing process by clicking Add to Batch.
If your inventory hasn’t synced:
InventoryLab will not recognize that the MSKU has been converted when you attempt to add it to your batch and the Replenish button will still be grayed out.
Click Create New MSKU Instead
2. Enter your quantity and purchase details, as you would any other listing, and scroll down to the MSKU area.
3. Copy the Seller SKU of your product from Seller Central and paste it into the MSKU field in InventoryLab.
4. Complete your listing process as usual by clicking Add to Batch.
